Well, speaking of my first day at school, I’m just reminded of my first day at Leeds University. This is going back 5 years and I went to Leeds to further my studies. It was the very first time for me to go abroad as well as study abroad. So to be honest, I was so jittery but also thrilled about this new part of my life. So even until now, 5 years later, I still have a clear recollection of my first day at Leeds University.

Basically, nothing special or unexpected happened on that day. I arrived early and moved around our campus so as to know the distance between buildings and the right routes to take so that my first day wouldn’t beoverwhelming for me and I could go through my first day smoothly. On that day, we attended the opening ceremony and then we were given a booklet in which we could find out where we could take our classes as well as other guidance like if we got into some troubles, we could directly head to the student center for help. I also met my classmates and they were all pretty nice and talkative. In brief, it was a lovely beginning to my university life.
